The principle of the MVR evaporator is that the vapor from an evaporator is compressed by a compressor to a higher temperature so that it can be condensed in the evaporator heat exchanger. Various combinations are possible, including single-effect, double effect and a single-effect combined with a multiple-effect evaporator etc.

Because of the ability to use and upgrade wasted energy, MVR evaporator are widely used for chemical, mining, pharmaceutical, food fermentation, waste treatment and other industries.
