The rising film evaporator is a high-efficiency flash evaporator. The liquid material enters the heat exchanger from the bottom of the evaporator and vaporizes rapidly after boiling. A steam column appears in the center of the pipe. The evaporation column drives the liquid material to rise and form a film along the pipe wall, accelerating the evaporation of the material.
The rising film evaporator is suitable for the solution with small evaporation capacity, heat sensitivity, low viscosity and easy foaming, but it is not suitable for the solution with high viscosity, crystal precipitation and easy scaling. Compared with the falling film evaporator, the installed power is relatively small.
Features
The residence time of materials in the rising film heating tube is only a few seconds or even tens of seconds. Such a short time has a small liquid storage capacity. Therefore, it is especially suitable for the concentration of heat sensitive liquid materials, such as food milk, fruit juice and other substances, which can effectively avoid excessive thermal decomposition of materials. In addition, the high speed two steam in the evaporation process of the rising film evaporator has good foam breaking effect, so it is also suitable for the materials which cause foaming easily.
